Stormin' Springfield, IL 4/08/05

The popular Stormin' Springfield event is back again! This is our opportunity to go to our state Capitol and show our Legislators that we are a family oriented, responsible group and that we, as other special interest groups, are entitled to enjoy our chosen form of recreation within Illinois.

Please try to attend. We need your support for this event so we can keep our hobby visible in the eyes of the Legislature.

Current schedule for April 8th ...

8:00-8:30am - Meet at Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, IL. T-shirts distributed for those that RSVP'd for the event. (801 E. Sangamon Ave, just west of Business 55)
8:30 -”Parade" departs for Capital. There will be NO Police escort, so please obey ALL traffic laws during the "parade."
10:00-11:00- Guest Speakers TBA (please check our website for updates, www.ilfwda.org)
12:00-1:00 - Live music in the Rotunda for our enjoyment
1:00-3:00 - Visit your Legislators and introduce them to ILFWDA
3:00 - Head to Knights of Columbus Hall for a party with door prizes - Food arrangements TBA
3:30-6:00 - Party at Knights Hall
