Chevy S10 231/700R4

I changed out the T-case lube in my supervisors S10 the other day...pulled the fill plug first and was showered by a geyser of ATF LOL. (worth a curious "Hmmmm" but at least it wasn't 'hot' ATF)

Drained and refilled to correct level...then pulled the tranny dipstick...sure enough it was low. Do these things not have seals between them, like my Jeep AW4/231? (or are his seals toast?)

can't be good to have a way overfilled T-case all the time.

His seals are toast. End of story.

there are seals and they go bad quite often.. i had the same problem but didnt know it until the t/case vent started peeing red stuff....
