View Full Version : Can I test a Renix O2 sensor?

I have an 89 Sport (Renix) with what looks like a fairly new O2 sensor in it. My MPG is not what it used to be, and I'm wondering if the O2 is working. Is there any test with an ohmmeter that I can do, before simply replacing the sensor?
Thanks.

Yes you can. It's hard to explain without pictures. I have the 88' FSM on my computer in a (.PDF) format. Can you open (.PDF)'s on your 'puter? What's your e-mail address and I can send you a copy from the FSM.

Thanks for the offers and help, guys. It looks to be a very simple test with a voltmeter. I'll check it when the weather warms up a bit.......
