Exhaust Down pipe?

On my 94 XJ I replaced the stock exhaust including the cat. and muffeler with a HI-Flow and rustys exhaust. I've got a leak where the cat hits the down pipe. It looks like their is bracket missing from the down pipe.

My question is their a bracket that attaches from the down pipe to the cat? Or should I just bite the bullet and get a new one bent?

Did you loose the gasket that went inbetween the downpipe and the cat? I know mine had a gasket that went there.

I got a new 2.5" downpipe bent for $50 at a local exhaust shop. Its not that expensive and it really helped out my storker. I would keep the 2.25 downpipe if you are keeping the 4.0L displacement.

My 92 has a bracket that bolts between the cat and downtube. It slips into a rubber mount above the crossmember.

I got a new down tube at Napa, I think it was $40.
