XJ HP and LP Dana 30?

I got the JP magazine and in it it says the The HP Dana 30 came stock in XJ from 84-97 1/2. What came in the 98-01 models was it a LP Dana 30?

I think it's a misprint. The HP should be up through '99 about mid-year...I know my '98 had it. The last 2-2.5 years ('99.5-'01) had the LP like the TJ.
