ford 9 disk brakes

for those of you that have swapped in a 9 what was the cheapest route you found for disks? I have found some but way to expensive

You can probably find the caliper brackets all over the place for a reasonable price. Do a search on E-bay. Should be able to find a pair for $50 to $75. After that it's all OEM parts but that can be the expensive part.
If you want to retain the e-brake you may be forced into expensive Eldorado calipers (est $150-$190 per). If you can live without the e-brake, you can go with a much less expensive caliper.

I would look at explorer discs. To my knowledge they bolt up relatively easy and it seems 8.8's are easy to find with the disc brakes...so I;d start there.
