This is a carrier I am interested in buying for my MJ. Nto sure but I am pretty sure it is not a trac-lok? So what is it? Apprently it is for the dana 35 since it has the small ring gear, and yes I know it is a posi but what unit is it?

It is out of a 91 Cherokee. The numbers on it are:

Ring Gear 283 2943-355 3 28 91 1

Carrier 18-05-039-903

First, it's not posi... it is limited slip.... and it looks like an Auburn, and by the parts in the tray, it's out of a chry 8.25 not a dana

It's the Sure-Grip unit for the 8.25 axle.
