The extra electric fan in my 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 seems to make a squeeling noise when it kicks on. What might I do to try to quiet it.

probrably nothing, the newer fans are pretty dang loud, i don't see that as bad, taht means your pulling more air through and its working.

The electric fan on my 97 doesn't make a squeeling noise, but it is extremely loud. Every trip to Moab I make someone comments on it. My temperatures stay low though, so I won't complain.
