Me and Matt were going to install my RRO BB today. We started at 12:30 and when we quit at 8-ish, we had installed the 2 rear shackles. How is this, you may ask? I forgot to soak all the bolts in WD40 or some similar lube beforehand. One bolt took both of us pulling on a breaker bar for 45 minutes to an hour to loosen it. Then add to that a slight deviation in the RRO shackles...they came down just off-center on the leaf. We had to pry and beat them into place with a screwdriver and rubber mallet. All told, it took a while and we aren't done...Let this be a lesson to all of you, use some WD40 a few days in advance and allow extra time to account for poorly fitting products...:D

WD40 is about as useful as an Indigent Healthcare plan aided by spongebob bandaids and hugs.

Go PB Blaster or go home.

Yeah.. what he said: WD40 is just a water displacement lubricant (hence WD). PB blaster or Liquid Wrench or something like that is the way to go.
