Sidewall Question

Im looking at a se of trxus mts for for XJ some the the local guys tell to be carefull of them they have sidewall problems as wel as balance problems.
Any experience with either of these?

I'd like to know too.I've heard of punctured side walls but not balance problems.I also heard of some quality control issues on some batches, but what exactally was the problem I don't know.

my brother has a set, 31/10.5 and they did take a lot of weights to balance them. but once balanced so far they are fine. he has not had side wall problems yet. the trxxus mt's have a 2 ply side wall, but supposedly each ply is a little thicker then normal so you should be okay.

Thanks for the quick responce i really like the looks of this tire so unless i hear some bad about them ill go for it.

the number of ply's is based on the size of the tire..
Check out the Interco website.. lots of info on them..
I havent heard any problems with balancing them.. I have LTB's and they are a different story.. I have equal in mine now and they are livable..
