Dana44 carrier question

Another D44 carrier question. Is a Dana44 carrier just a Dana 44 carrier, meaning are they universal to older/newer and standard/reverse axles? Other than the break in the size of gearing.

Yes-
I removed the carrier and No-Slip from my XJ 44 rear and installed it in my HP 44 front axle.
Some older 44 axles are 19-spline, but later ones are all 30-spline.
