I'm confused???

I currently have a 90 xj with the 260 axle joints and I wish to go to the larger u joints. I am confused as to what needs to be changed, is it just the axles, or do I need to change the carrier also. Will my 90 outer hubs be the same or do those have to be updated too?

do you have the vac. disco. on your front axle. I did this upgrade on my XJ I just got shafts out of a TJ. Your hubs and carrier will work with the new shafts. If you do have the disco you need to seal that off and add another seal on the pass. side tube. I got a block off plate for the disco and the seals I needed from randys ring and pinion for like $30

Is there a list of source vehicals? Years and such? I thought after a certain year all xjs had the larger ones and that the older ones with ABS had them.

I'm also looking to do this in the spring.
