I ran my optima blue top all the way dead. What is the best why to recover it?
I jumped it and let it run about 10 drove around the block , then turned it off and the battery didn't have enough juice to start back up.

I have it on a battery tender 1.25A now. If that does not work it's going back. The battery is only about a year old.

Trickle charge it overnight. That is what I had to do with mine... or you can just say screw it and 30 amp it for a couple hours... I've done that too, I wouldn't reccomend it, but hey I'm still alive an in one piece. lol (I did it on accident)

The usual rule is for a starting-type battery, charge at a higher rate (like 6 to 10 amps), while for a deep-discharge battery (like a trolling motor battery) trickle charge it slowly (like around 1 amp).
