Rear Trim Question

If I make relief cuts and fold/pound the metal up against the inner fenderwell will I have to weld. Or can I get away without welding. I am trimming for TJ flares.

You can easily get away without welding. Just make sure your relief cuts are not too deep as they will cut into the inner fender and allow rain/water to come inside. I filled the mistakes I made with silicon and painted over it, havent had a problem yet. :wave:

As long as you did not cut into the pinch seam, you do not need to weld it. You should maybe paint it though, so it doesnt rust.
