We will be staying at the Red Stone Inn, should arrive around 2pm, right Cody??? Anyway, a afternoon run may not be possible, but FRI. morn, here we come. I think I'll come up with a staging area other than City market.

Ideas? If we do Hell's on friday, Maybe stage at the Walkers gas., lets think about it.

:D I was gonna use an XJ crossmember, but decided against it (had to keep some stamped steel to hang around you guys, right?). The only 'Xj' part of my Jeep is a 'Jeep' emblem that fell off my old XJ ......(gotta keep something, that was a good little rig)

I'll be joining you all for Pres. Weekend in Moab. Are any runs scheduled for Thursday? My Moab eta is 1:00 PM and I'll be staying at The Virginian Motel on 200 So. The rate there is $25 through Feb. 28th.
I was in Moab 2 years ago during Pres Weekend and had a great time. The weather was good and there was just enough snow on some of the runs, like Behind The Rocks, to make it real interesting.

So after weeks of pressure, Cody(0313) is coming.... we ARE going to be there Thursday afternoon. We might try to do a run that evening, we will be running on Channel 26. and staying at the Red Stone Inn. Hells Gate at night can be reached in less than 40 minutes from City Market, you can round trip it in under 2.5 hrs even if you play a while......enter the trail in reverse, skirt around TipOver, turning right at the bottom of the hill that drops off of Mickeys HT, you'll see a trail through the sandy wash that will skirt south of the Big Valley and shave mucho time off your goal..........BTW, you'll have a 3/4 moon to play with over Pres Day, wish I was going........Rim Trail is fun in the moonlight too.

We have got a few people wanting to do it, but have to go home that night, and doing the full trail would put them back way to late. so I thought we would do that, Then play on the Rusty Nail to finish out the day. Hows that sound?

It's a trail that starts off the early part of Gold Bar Rim and links over to the Spike, Just above the Crack...... One very nasty trail!

we were going to hit Flat Iron Mesa early Fiday 9am Shell gas station south of town, maybe do Moab rim Fri. night, the Spike North to south Saturday and then thinking Steel bender on Sunday, but there is a neweer trail down near area BFE, that I am thinking we will do on Sunday, harder than Lower Helldorado, but not the body damage of Upper, but the trail is ONE obsticle, I am hearing 1/2 mile of drivetrain carnage.
