I have a dana 30 with stock gears and a power trax no slip. i want to put 4.56 gear ratio. I know that i will have to buy a new carrier but my question is will my no slip lunch box locker fit in the carrier designed for 4.56? If both carriers require the same spider gears then the locker will fit in either carrier. right? my second question is how low of a gear ratio will a stock chrysler 8.25 go with stock carrier? i was told that in can go to 4.56. Am i correct? Any info on this matter would be great thanks.

The No-slip will fit in the new carrier...the limit for the 8.25 is 4.56

Good question Ethan, because I have the same setup and am also planning to put in 4.56 gears. I have the gears and bought a new carrier. I wondered for a few minutes if my No-Slip would fit into the new carrier. Then I figured the difference between the two carriers would be on the outside where the ring bolts onto.

But now it's been confirmed. :D Thanks MudDawg.

Same set up I'm running also Etan. D-30, 4:56, No Slip, 8.25, 4:56, Powertrax.

Like they said, your No Slip will fit the new carrier.

You'll be good with this set-up to 33's.
