wondering if this is the same as the 4wd version with drums

basically want to know if I can build this puppy up to be any good

is it an 8.8 ???

how much should I offer ??
what would be the most I shold pay for it

d44's go for $350 around here

Heh, I remember you from Moab a couple of years ago!
4x4 or 2x doesn't matter as far as the axles go. But most folks (Myself included) buy a newer model 8.8 to get the disc brake setup. M.O.R.E. has a lot of the parts you'll need to do the install. Danno

sure I remeber ya Danno that was my first run to Moab now im hooked for life
builing my second cherokee now
from the ground up ;)
Im looking at this 8.8 ..............Ya I know it has drums which isnt perfect but the strengh is still there right Im guessing the WMS is close to the disc break setup
Im hoping to buy it for about $50 bucks

ayone have an idea what ratio the rear was in that 2wd 93??

Anthony, it's probably the 28 spline, and you want the 31 spline rear end. Stick to the '95 and later with disc brakes.
