has anyone run a 203 behind an aw4?

i'm thinking about a dodge 203/d300 combo behind my aw4. it sounds like adapting the 203 should be no more difficult than adapting a d300 to the aw4 since it is 23 spline as well. unless it doesn't have the same bolt pattern as the 300, i guess there were 2 different bolt patterns for dodge 203s.

do i need the same thickness for the 203 adapter as i would if i was using a d300? if i remember right it's 7/8". i have found people saying this should work, but no luck finding anyone who has actually run a 203 behind a aw4. i'd just like to know what i'm in for ahead of time if possible.

with an auto tranny you really don't need the gearing of dual cases. just use a D300 and the proper diff gearing and it should be great. if you still want more (unlikely) you can 4:1 the D300
