JEEPZZ

Last Friday night (12-17) a good friend of mine and fellow NAXJA IC member 'crazy4moab' Mike E. (Mikey) was driving home from work just after dark and was involved in an accident. Two deer jumped over the concrete center highway divider and right into his path. He struck both deer causing his Cherokee to hit the highway divider and roll. Mikey was alone in his Jeep and walked away for the most part unscathed. :sunshine:
There were no other vehicles involved but a driver directly behind Mike witnessed the whole thing and was quick to help him out.
Here's a pic of Mikey with his Jeep doing some needed trail maintenance during the IC Mineral Basin run last summer.

I haven't seen the damage done to his Jeep but I hear it's pretty bad. He just got word from his insurance and found out that it was not properly covered even though he thought he had the correct coverage. Mike is going to have the Jeep towed back to his home and look into rebuilding it or strip it if the damage is too severe.:repair: Either will be lengthy project considering he's a single father with a mortgage. ...and a Jeep. :gag:
Mikey, thank goodness you're alright and I hope to see you on the trails again soon. Sounds like the next wrenching party is in Tooele!
