I need a quick answer please!!

I am tryin to get my jeep ready for some snow that is hopefully going to come, and it is time to change my T-case fluid. I have never done this since i have had my jeep and am starting to noice a whining noise coming from it. What size is the fill and drain plugs on an Np231. My XJ is a 1990. Thanks guys.

I'm inclined to think it's 1-3/16" for both plugs.

I do recall that the corners of the plugs are rounded, so you will want to use a 6-point socket on them.

Use a touch of RTV to keep them sealed and to prevent siezure when you put them back in.

I have found after bumming many big sockets off of my neighbors that a 30 mm is a perfect fit, Thanks for the reply.
