Hey, I am pulling out my carpet and I was wondering how the chrome rear cargo rails are held on. Anyone? Also to those have pulled the carpet, is it hard to do? Any tips or concerns I should have when doing this?

On my 91, those rails are attached to the carpet only. Each end of a rail is held by two means -- bent-over tab, and press-fit 'nut/washer'(?)

You have to remove/loosen trim pieces, and also remove the rear seatback

I didn't know they came with cargo rails in the back. They're not even on my 92

Mine were held on by a few fasteners (I think screws), but mostly by V shaped tabs that were bent over through and under the carpet. I tore the carpet in a couple of places and pulled a few long threads taking them out. My rails were bent to heck and weren´t gonna be replaced or reused.
