Just finished the front brakes on the wife,s 98 XJ.New pads and rotors only a little problem with one bleeder screw.
Now the question---Should I bleed the calipers? Used C-clamp to push the piston back(bleeder open) then closed it off.
First push on pedal and it went to the floor but after several pushes everything felt fine.
Road test and several panic stops all was fine,no pull and no fade just smoke from new rotors.
Even let wife try it and she pronounced it OK. Am I done or should I bleed it again ?
