I hang out on that board a lot, and remember this thread, I dont think anyone could believe that the guy actually did that, a few folks tried to be nice....but the person who posted kind of got his rear handed to him, rightfully so I think.iirc the guy backed off later, but I dont think anyone saw him on that board again, what they said about it on pbb was worse....

like just about everybody who posted before...here or there...i am just short of speechless. this has got to be his first ever try at welding...or he should never do it again. however, even though some of his info is in the right direction, that makes him more dangerous. indeed cast iron can be welded without cracking, but it takes much more knowledge and skill than the picture shows as evidence...LOL and scared at the same time.
