86 pioneer need help

I just got an 86 pioneer and the blower only blows out the defrost no matter what and I was looking for some good shocks for mild to moderate offroading and every day driving.any suggestions.

Blower -- you have a vacuum leak. This gets addressed in detail frequently, so a search might help. Short answer is to start looking at the vacuum lines that run under the battery to the vacuum reservoir ("blimp") mounted to the front bumper.
