Who makes aftermarket flares for 97 & Up 4 door? I really like the cutouts that bushwacker sells, but they are only listed for 84-96?

Anybody???

They do fit, but they don't have their years wrong. It's just that you do have to do the modification to the bumper end caps and the trim, or remove those items. The older XJs don't have that stuff to deal with. Maybe BW decided to set those years becuase they wanted to keep the instructions the same for everyone that bought the flares.

Hope This Helps,

Rusty's also makes some flares, but I hear that they are quite brittle as they are made of fiberglass. Some people use TJ flares on their XJs. You could do a search here to see some examples. People either use one entire set of TJ flares, and others use the rear TJ flares for the front as well as the back. You will find that any flares that you find will all need the same type of alteration to your body side mouldings and rear bumper end caps.

Oh, and one more thing.

Antother way to go is to get after market bumpers for your Jeep. That way you just remove your end caps and don't have to worry about them anymore.
You can search to find examples of those as well.

If you do decide to get an aftermarket bumper be shure to tell them that you have aftermarket flairs. Because you might need to use a bumper made for the older body style, depending on how the bumper is made.
