Or sales brochure?
I need to find what the factory claimed for horsepower and torque ratings for the 84 and 85 4-cylinder engine. The carbureted version -- I have the data for the TBI and MPFI models. The corresponding RPMs would also be welcome.
And if you have the book(s), if you could dig out the same info for the 2.8L V6 it would be appreciated.
TIA

Great source, thanks. Some of the info doesn't agree with other sources, but it's a good starting point.

ok, i found the brochure and owners manual and all the original paperwork with the purchase of this jeep in april of 1985. i even found paperwork that shows what each addition all upgrade and such cost...like the diesel in 85 was an $1124 option...how this jeep purchased in grand junction colorado at mead's classic motors ended up in indiana, i have no clue...but i hauled it to the scrap yard this summer....
the only thing i found in all this paperwork in reguards to hp, was tax h.p....not sure what that means, but the 150cid 4 cyl with a 1v carb shows 24.04 tax hp. the 126cid diesel 4cyl shows 18.34 and the 173cid 6cyl with the 2v carb shows 29.45...maybe that will help???
some pics of the brochures and owners manual...

That's great stuff, Mac. I've gotta start hitting some AMC flea markets to shop for old literature.
