Hey Do you think the SE Chapter could swing that???
I hope he just has it listed for the fun I really hate for someone else to come in and buy it and not be 4x4 friendly...

Well..........
that certainly blows! KOA will prolly scoop it up and kick those "loud 4 wheel drive guys" out for good. Hopefully not. It's not every day that you can find a camping area where crowds of 4 wheelers get treated like normal folks.

I first heard about it from Jack (ForeWheeler Dan's FIL) at NACFest in June... supposedly one of his Jeepin buds made Steve an offer, that I guess didn't seal a deal. I'd want to get it with the house and the cabins too...
Too bad we don't have the resource$ ($2 with six zeros) to get both Crawford's AND Slickrock CG in Moab. At least Steve's place is pretty much 'turn key' as everything is pretty new, and I'd venture it's well worth his asking price. Slickrock OTOH needs work... still probably worth the asking, but would need another couple hundred g's to rebuild it.
A 500 shareholder corporation with an initial investment of $1000 each(?)

I talked to steve yesterday. Its true, its for sale... The good news is he's not REALLY trying to sell it. his words "everything I own is for sale...for the right price." "It will be taken off the market March 1" So, everybody can calm down. :laugh3:

I heard he's got the campground closed down from now till march, and it'll reopen as soon as he gets back to health. I believe the cabins are still open, but not the campground.
He's been e-mailing a few folks in our local club, so I would think he'd write everyone back that wrote him.

i hope that it doesn't seel. he's a super cool guy, and when I was feely sticky and dirty last may and ventured in for a shower, I couldn't believe how clean they kept the upper and lower baths.
Best campground i've ever stayed at, and with a stream running by to put you to sleep at night.

Funny. As much as I'd love to own that camp ground I'd rather be able to go there with mr. crawford running it. He does a great job. Still...

I know what you mean... I've always felt at home there, thanks to Steve and his crew.
I wonder if there is something (chores or ?) we could help him with while he's laid up?
