Front output shaft in 231 TC

I am getting horrible vibes on the front shaft. I have done the basics, Ujoints, balancing by a pro so on. I noticed some movement in the front output shaft. Is this normal or should it be tight?

There should be little to no side to side play in the front output yoke on an NP231. I have seen shot dual cardan setups cause vibes and take out the front bearing over a long period of time.

If you think that is causing the vibes, drop the front shaft and take it for a spin.
