Grand Cherokee salvage questions

I just picked up '94 ZJ with the 4.0 for $100, and I was wondering if anyone could advise me on what to save before tossing it.
The truck was rear-ended HARD, so I cant tell what the rear diff. is(d35?d44?)
I have an '86 pioneer(4cyl, 2wd) that I wanted to convert to a 4.0 w/AW4, how hard would that be?
What other misc. pieces would be worth saving?

If it's a D44 its probably one of the crappy aluminum housing axles and should be scrapped same as a D35.

no, it's an iron housing, and has drum brakes, but thats about all I can tell.

I'm fairly certain a `94 would be D35.
