I have a 1994 YJ that has yet to be lifted.

My plan is to install 30X9.5 –15 tires on stock wheels.
The big Q is will thy fit? If not what is the smallest lift that will allow sufficient clearance, as my biggest problem is I have a bad leg.

PS I also have a 90 XJ:D :D

A friend has a 91 YJ that has 31's with nothing more than extended shackles. The 30x9.50's should fit fine.

We have extended shackles on ours and there is plenty of room under there. Check the bumpstops on the frame and make sure they are still there. Ours on our 89 are shot and need to be replaced.
