Tested out the leaf spring conversion of my xj tonight. Tried the same hole a few times. Still missing the crucial element of a front drive shaft. Did pretty good. Rides great on the road and trail. Clears the 35's great. Will find reason to get some flex pics as soon as front drive shaft is done.

Hey, got any pics of your front setup up close? i'm kinda interested there, you use a YJ front axle? or some other?

used my stock axle. cut the mounts off and welded on some MORE yj mounts. They have 3 different places for the leaf spring to mount on the mount, help center the axle.

used 4" wrangler springs. a bit too much lift. wanted to run 33's but wound up with 35"s.

Beat it pretty hard in the pit to see what shook loose. Need to tighten the crossmember a bit and put grade 8 or 10 bolts in the rod ends.
