Speedometer and AW4

Will 4:10s and 32s without changing the speedometer have any effect on how the auto tranny shift. Does the tranny computer care what the speedometer is reading?

I meant to put in that it's a 2000.

well I know that spedo is on the rear of the t-case. and I would think it would have nothing to do with the AW4 shifting.
I would think that just engine revolutions and current gear would be the only factor.
Engine gets to a certain speed, shifts, starts lower then revs up, shifts...
