One of these days you'll know the ways of the plasma :sunshine:

I have a Hypertherm 1250 (80 amp) and I will be damned if I still don't reach for the oxy/ace for quick cuts. Of course this has to do with my not wanting to disconnect the plasma from the CNC table and have to re-set my torch position in the computer.
still do old school,

Yes I have a plasma cutter, but not a big enough compressor riht now. @ don't think m nail gun comp. of a wh¯`e 2gal lf air will work.

Hinkleberry, that compressor actually will work. At least mine has served its duty a time or 2 on the plasma. Free your inner torch.

....freeing his inner torch will only leave the shop smelling of butane and methane

I know exactly what you mean. Just started back at mine two days ago, feels good to be at it again. Unfortuneately the snow hit here today so now my work is on a rush schedule so I can keep my car off the salted roads. Ironically those salted roads are exactly why I have huge holes in both sides of the xj now, gonna work on those tonight I think.

I bet by next year you might even be able to work for 8 hours.
Mark's scared we'll see his new Texas type work.

Yes, with the shop not done I feel so average now, having to rearrange the garage just to work on the jeep. So sad! :(
I'm surprised you didn't tell anyone about my 2x8 axle stand I had to make from scrap framing materials! :gag:

Damnit I was planning on hinting at that for months. You've became Mr. Nofun since you moved to texas. Stay away from those long horns.

Small update and confession:
Got the front axle in with the new Rancho 9000 pro series. I raised the upper arm mount on the pumpkin and it has made the pinion angle change almost zero now. Real happy with that. That is all I got done before JV so the rest will have to wait!
So now for the confession part:
It is really bad when you can't even figure out how to turn your lockers on! I went out and found a pile of boulders to test it all on and I kept throwing switches thinking I was locking it up but nothing happened. I was getting ****ed, something must be wrong! Then I realized I was throwing the wrong switches! :gee:
Man I need to go wheeling!!!!!! :D

Should I tell the part about how I rolled over on the side rail of the creeper when I was pulling a the diff out of the front yesterday? Did it just perfect too, got to here that nice sound of a rib breaking. Did just so I wouldn't drop the ARB on the ground. :)
Must be a stupid weekend. I would have rather ripped a mudflap off (unless it's a trucker style with the chrome nekid chick).

Oh gawd.......don't tell Mark to free his inner torch. He scorches enough people already!!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one cutting things off and redoing them right before the trip.
I'm also glad that I don't have to worry about knowing the right switch to throw so I can climb some rocks........ :dunno:
Too bad more of you schmucks can't make it.........it's going to be FUN!!!!!
