I'm going to mount aux driving lights on stock XJ front bumper.Which would
buy Hella 550's or IPF 868's?

Neither go with the 450's, smaller and put out the same light, look under the bumper in front of where the stock ones go, see that elongated oval hole ?
Use a drift pin to *gently* round it out then use a big washer on both sides of the hole when you put the stud thru for the light.
I've had both 550's and now have 450's, the 450's dont catch so much stuff off road...

I have the Hella 550's and cant imagine driving without them. I live in New England so I drive in bad weather all the time. They'll cut through anything. But I knew I would take them out in the stock spot, so I mounted them in holes on the top of the bumper. They're much safer and look cooler too!:D

PIAA 510's at the very least. But that's just me. :)
