OME shocks???

Search says OME is best ride quality for a lifted truck, My old 93 had rustys 3" kit....reg. rusty's shocks and compared to stock i didtn mind how it was. Now my stock 00xj...s*cks...i hate the mushy feel of the suspension...i'm going to do an RE 3.5 superflex...and was thinking about adding in the ome shocks...does this mean i'm in for the same mushy suspension (soft spring rate)? Or is this "best ride quality" going to keep it a little on the firm side? Thanks for any info.

Can i also put in the OME shocks before i lift the truck?

I think you'll like the OME shocks, they are not mushy. I'm running them on a 4 1/2" super flex and they work well. I would think that they would be too long to mount before you install your lift.
