what do you guys use to plug the output of the np231 i need to get my jeep to the shop with no rear drive line.

to get myself off the trail once i used a antifreeze cap and some duct tape for about 10 miles :doh: i had to add about a half a quart afterwards, half of which i'd say i lost when i pulled the shaft

Take a 20 oz. plastic soda bottle and cut off the top about 1/3 of the way down. Then press the bottle over the yoke. Mine sealed with no drips.

Worked for me for about a week till I fixed my D/S. But I took the yoke off first and put it over the tailshaft housing and secured it with duct tape.
