Power Window Fuse

While on a trail in Moab my power windows stopped working. So I decided to check the fuses. The manual said to look on the back of the fuse box panel - but the back of that said look in the manual. So I have no idea which fuse is the power windows... so I checked them all, none of them blown. Then my dad (who was driving his brand-new Rubicon!) got the idea that maybe the fuse just fell out. So he put a replacement fuse in the first open spot he saw and the windows worked! Now, the real questions: How big is that fuse supposed to be? Where is it supposed to be (is there any way it's in the wrong place and still make the windows work?) and where is this elusive fuse information? TIA
