Hey guys, I'm overhauling my XJ's 4litre and I wanted to know if anyone had the original specs for a 93 4litre. Compression psi, and cylinder bore diameter (I want to double check, to make sure the engine hasn't been bored so I order the right kit). It's a down and dirty quick rebuild. The walls look good and they aren't out of round at all. So I'm just doing a quick hone and rering job. Thanks.

3.875" x 3.413", CR8.8:1

Nominal compression pressure should be about 130psi - but compression values should be taken more as "relative to each other" than "relative to an absolute" when you consider wear.

Look down on a pad by the distributor - if there's a "B" code down there, your cylinders are bored +.010" from the factory...
