A contrary spin

Ok, guys, I know it's all a matter of how you spin it, whom you believe, and whose nifty predigested list you find easier to swallow without chewing. And I know that every list that has a slant leaves out an equal or larger list that contradicts it. But since people are so fond of those "100-this" kinds of lists, and let's face it, we dang contrarian left-leaning hippie liberals are in a distinct minority around here, I leave you with the following list, which I will not bother to argue or defend beyond posting it. All the items have links, some of them fairly reputable, some kinda pink, some pretty conservative, many rather interesting. Enjoy.
