OK im lgonna be lockin up the front of my xj and know im gonna be breakin shafts. so i need to know what shafts i should run and who has got them for the best price.

didnt know it matter because i was just asking what the best shafts were. I have got a 1991 xj with auto trans a 231 t-case dana 30 4.56 gears and 35 mtrs the wieght is probley around 3500-3800

you'd probably be fine with getting one piece XJ shafts with 760x joints. if you want to be bullet-proof, get Superior shafts with CTM joints.

Also what type of locker are you running, selectable or not. The reason I am asking is the selectable lockers ( ARB, OX etc.) are a little easier on the axle since you only will be locked up when need be. Auto lockers ( aussie, lockright,etc.) are a little harder on axles because they are locked MOST of the time.

Dont the stock abs shafts have a 297 u-joint?
