anyone know exactly what size the bolt is on the axle end of the upper control arms?
is this an oddball size that i need to get from the dealer?

10mm. Sorry, I don't recall either the length or the thread pitch.
The axle end also uses a pan torx head bolt, which you won't get anywhere but from a dealer. Don't see any reason why a regular hex bolt won't work better, but I'd want it to be a flanged head anyway. You might find one that long at Auto Zone, but I'm not sure if their longest is long enough.

A regular hex will work in there as well; that's what is in the RE Drop Bracket kit too. I believe I have 10mm x 75 in there on both ends of the UCA. ACE Hardware had just about all the mounting hardware I needed.
