anyone have any installing rear glass tips

i've been trying to get this thing in for about 30mins. it looks like it would just pop in. no such luck, what am i missing?

If it's 97 up, it urethanes in, 96 back use a small cord about 1/4 in diameter, put the rubber gasket on the glass then put the cord were the pinch seam of the hatch will go, put the glass in place, while someone applies gentle pressure for the outside of the glass, simply pull the cord and the rubber gasket will pop over the pinch seem ,very easy, dishwashing liqiud on the gasket also helps.
