the one i have was a hand me down of marginal quality. i'm looking to upgrade now.
What kind of specs/extras should i be looking for. It is always a chore to break out the torch now. I'd rather make it a less painful process.

Go to www.eastwood.com and check out the Henrob 2000. It's kinda pricey for a torch, but you can cut and weld steel, stainless, aluminum, etc with it, and the weld quality is like a TIG and cut quality is like a plasma cutter! I don't have one, but a buddy does, and I use it more than he does!

I bought a Victor a year ago and it has been a great torch. As a bonus it has built in flash-back arrestors, which cost about $50 dollars if you were to buy them seperately.
