greasing ome leaf springs

Remi....Leaf shackles ?? J/K

I believe it's the bullet(cone) one,but I don't think you can get much grease in there when the weight of the vehicle is on them--I've tried. I think you need to jack-up the frame so that the leaves open-up a bit -- haven't tried this yet.
 
Not the shackles. OME markets their leaf springs as "greasable" and recommends greasing them every once in a while. I've had 'em on my rig for 6 months and went to grease them and found it difficult becasue neither the flat tip (that goes over a common grease zerk) nor the cone shape tip fit into the recess areas of the springs (where the teflon pads are) where you're supposed to insert the grease.

I know many run on ome leafs and I'm wondering how you are greasing them.
