RE 1462 +1.5" shackle or Rusty's 6" STS and 1.5 Shackle....

Which will net the most lift after "break in". I am currently running the RE1462 and shackle combo and its great, but I added a aftermarket bumper and tire carrier and the rear is just a tad lower now. Front are 3 year old rusty's 6.5 coils. Rear 44 with 6* shims. Opinions? Other options for leafs? I had a set of Rusty's pre-STS springs and was pretty disappointed after a few months. Thanks in advance.

My vote is , box in the rear mount, adjust your shackle angle for desired lift and ride. Otherwise if you want new leaves, get BOR's or work on adding leaves to your existing RE pack.

In all honesty I would lower the front to match.

Its cheaper and you get the benefit of a lower COG.

JMHO.

I'd also vote against an AAL. It'll stiffen up the pack.

Use that extra weight on the rear to your advantage. It softens up the rear packs.

I have the RE1463 springs with a 1.75in shackle. Acceptable flex from them, and a much better ride after I put my rear BPI fab bumper on.
