OK, swinging my head under the seat does not yield an accurate answer, so I'm asking ya'll...

Will buckets from an XJ bolt onto the brackets ALREADY HOLDING my bench seat? (They're factory.)

They LOOK the same as XJ brackets, and any minor floor/mounting differences between the two chassis (XJ v. MJ) would be taken care of since the current brackets are, in fact, bolted into the truck...

So, is the top side of these brackets the same as the top side of an XJ bracket facilitating an easy swap to install buckets?

...and I won't forget about grabbing the seatbelt anchors, too.

They swaped for me just fine in my 86 MJ, but I used the bracket and seats out of a 89 Laredo. I say get the Brackets with the seats and you should be fine...Now if you are putting power seats in that's a diffrent story...andy

It looks to me like it should work and I'm 2/3 of the way toward doing it. I think CheapXJ did this with his MJ.
