Trac bar question

Got a used Rustys adjustable bar, and it has a poly bushing at each end. Would like to retain the stock mount, and replace the adjustable end with a heim joint. ( at least I think I want to ) .

1.) Feasible, and a good idea? OR
2.) STFU and just buy the bracket to go with it?

I'm sure you'll all be happy to tell me something...

Buy the bracket, I just re-built the heim on my track-bar, and the things constantly keep getting loose.
