Dana 44 8 lug

I have a Dana 44 out of a FSJ and I want to convert it to 8 lug. I have seen this done but I need to know if I can use my spindles or not, or if I have to replace both knuckles to grt the 5 bolt spindle attachment? PLease help.

All I've ever heard is you need to swap from the steering knuckles out to convert it. Chevy stuff should bolt right on it.
