I have gotten a AMC Factory hub/bearing service kit.

The part number for the kit is: 8980 002 647

I didn't find this kit number in my FSM for my MJ, I would assume the part number would be the same for my XJ, of the same year.

Anyone have an idea what vehicle(s) this would go to???

What exactly is in the kit? Pictures?

Don't for get that AMC also built cars. Depending on year, this kit might have been for the Rambler, the American, the Ambassador, the Javelin, Gremlin, Hornet, or AMX. All were 2-wheel drive with conventional front spindles and bearings, but most used AMC corporate rear axles. Also, at the time the XJ and MJ were introduced, AMC was also tied in with Renault, which were front wheel drive autmobiles.

I understand that AMC/Jeep/Renault built all sorts of vehicles.

That is why I asked, if anyone knew what vehicles this kit serviced.

It contains factory tool numbers 5073 thru 5080.

I have pics, but I currently don't have them hosted anywhere.
