I just saw on the one of the other chapters that they are selling stickers and t-shirts. Does the NAC have anything like that? If note I have a company that does the t-shirts for my company that could get us a pretty good deal base on the amount we do. Juice

there are NAC window stickers.. i dont have a pic of it but i know "Mike In NJ" has them... IIRC they are $5.... a t-shirt would be cool too...

Mike actually took the initiative to have the chapter stickers made up. If you can get an estimate of what a tee shirt would cost, we can ask how many chapter members might be interested. I suspect the quantity would be rather low, so don't bother getting quotes in the quantity = 1000 range :)

Maybe chapter members will chime in and express whether or not they are interested. Anything I come up with will be a guess, and therefore virtually guaranteed to be wrong. I'll guess that if we're lucky we might sell a few more than 25 shirts.

Basic questions for the vendor:

1. At what numbers are the price breaks?

2. Do we need to order in any set quantities? (For example, if there's a price break at 25 and a further break at 50, if we had 32 orders can we order 32 shirts, or do we need to order at the next standard quantity increment?

3. How much per color? Assuming a set number of shirts, if we went from one color ink to two colors, how much would that affect the price? What about three colors of ink?

The big question my t-shirt rep had for me, just got off the phone with him was the logo. How many colors are in the logo? I would assume that NAC has a logo. Once I have that, he can set up some price ranges. Grey/black/white/royal blue t-shirts. Russell quality tees. Min. order is 12 and they go in dozens so 12/24/36 etc. Once the logo is saved in their system, a reorder takes 2 weeks. I also have a sticker guy, who did our last order of quality 4" round three color decals in a 150 order for 55 bucks. But right now the easy thing to take care of is the t-shirts. But if anyone has the logo that is approved by the NAC than please email it to me. juicexj24@hotmail.com and put t-shirt logo in the subject so it doesnt get deleted. Thanks. Juice

Yeah, the sticker is 3 colors, which is why I asked what the increment would be for more than one color. I like the sticker, but not sure how well it would translate to a tee shirt. Anyone have opinions, one way or t'other?

Spoke with RIEarle last night and he wants a tee shirt. I don't think he even cares what the design is.

Speak up, folks -- how may are interested, and should the design be the chapter sticker design, or something else?

Three color or one color we would only be talking a few bucks difference. But a good head count would help, like I said a first order of 24 or 36 could get it started.
I haven't seen the logo but it could be placed on the back in the center, NAXJA on the left front chest. A logo which is oval something like this

Yup, North Atlantic Chapter still has plenty of our classy stickers which we made up as a fund raiser. Sorry, I have no way of posting a picture here.

Quality item - I've had mine on the trucks for over two years with no deterioration. 4" round - 4 color (Blue, Red, Black, Gray on white background)

That image was modified from the NAC design as a potential general NAXJA sticker - the NAC sticker has "North Atlantic Chapter" instead of "Since 1999" in the blue ring and the red letters "NAXJA" over a red "NAC", rather than just the "NAJXA" under the axle in this picture

Price is $6 for one, $11 for two, $5 apiece for three or more - all postpaid.

Not to worry, Mate. When the NAC was formed, there was no Southeast Chapter and all of Virginia was in the NAC. When the SEC was formed, they wanted to annex Virginia from us. Since chapter membership is optional anyway, we left it that Virginia is more or less shared between the NAC and the SEC. If you live anywhere in 'Ginny and wish to be consider yourself a member of NAC, you're welcome to do so.

Chapter stickers are available through Mike in NJ -- no chapter store. Chapter tee shirts are, as this thread indicates, a "work in progress."

National items are available through the NAXJA store. Dunno if they can be ordered on-line or not. Drop a PM to Kudzu and ask her, she's the store coordinator.

Well I have the cost numbers in. T-shirts will run $15 for M-XL and $18 for XXL. All profits from the sale will go back into the NAC account for NAC Fest or some other trip. I can order in any amount, as long as the first order is 24, after that orders of 6 can be done in 10-14 days.
